Mechatronics Technician – QCTO Accredited
A Mechatronics Technician repairs and maintains integrated industrial Systems based on mechanical, electrical, electronic and information technology and advanced technology components. The mechatronics technician curriculum includes critical aspects of three trades as foundational knowledge. These are fitter, electrician and millwright. The knowledge and skills from these three trades are crucial to understanding and being able to install, maintain and repair industrial machinery that forms the basis of the automated production system.
This 4.5-year programme also incorporates the German Dual System and Integrates theoretical learning with practical experience within the workplace.
