What is German business saying about the Southern African business environment and what does it mean for investment decisions going forward?
Join the Southern African German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in partnership with Germany Trade and Invest, for the online presentation of the 2026 Business Outlook Survey results. The survey captures the current mood of German-affiliated companies operating in Southern Africa, offering insights into business confidence, investment intentions, and the key challenges shaping corporate decision-making in the region.
The findings provide a critical evidence base for the Chamber’s advocacy and policy engagement, ensuring that the voice of German business is reflected in dialogue with public-sector stakeholders and partners.
The session will open with welcome remarks by Enrico Brandt, Deputy Ambassador of Germany to South Africa, followed by a presentation of the survey results, reflections on the broader macroeconomic and investment climate, and a moderated Q&A discussion.
