On Tuesday, 6 August 2025, the Southern African-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with our member company Cyberspace Protection, hosted an insightful online information session on the evolving landscape of cybersecurity in the era of artificial intelligence and cloud technologies.
As AI continues to be leveraged by both defenders and attackers, traditional notions of “security” are rapidly changing. During the session, participants explored what it means to stay secure in a world where threats are increasingly sophisticated and where businesses, particularly in high-risk regions such as South Africa, face unique challenges.
Speaker Highlight
The session was led by Tshitundu Orlin Mulumba, a cybersecurity specialist and ethical hacker from Cyberspace Protection. With his strong background in engineering and software development, Orlin made complex cybersecurity concepts accessible, while providing practical guidance on strengthening defenses against emerging threats.
