Experience the DSK Bazaar 2026 – Family Festival by Day, Oktoberfest Party by Night

Save the date for one of Cape Town’s favourite community events! The DSK Bazaar returns to the German International School Cape Town on Friday, 6 November and Saturday, 7 November 2026.

As the school’s largest annual fundraiser, the Bazaar brings together thousands of visitors for a weekend filled with good food, live entertainment, family fun and community spirit. Expect local and international bands, traditional German and local food, market and second-hand stalls, the popular Christmas Room, fantastic raffle prizes valued at more than R150,000 and plenty of Oktoberfest fun!

Friday, 6 November: “O’zapft is!” and Oktoberfest Evening

The festivities begin on Friday afternoon with the traditional “O’zapft is!” opening, followed by a lively evening with great live music, a new headline act from Germany and plenty of surprises and Oktoberfest activities.

Saturday, 7 November: Family Fun and Oktoberfest Evening

Saturday kicks off at 10:00 and is all about family fun. The extensive Kids & Teens FUN PARK offers exciting rides, games and activities for different age groups, while talented young musicians take to the Youth Stage.

Later in the afternoon, a great line-up of local and international bands turns up the energy on the main stage and keeps the Oktoberfest atmosphere going into the evening once again.

Tickets, FUN PARK Passes and Table Bookings

Adult tickets give you access to both Bazaar days, while children and teenagers under 18 enter free. Two-day FUN PARK passes are available separately.

Groups of ten or more can reserve a table, making the Bazaar a great option for an early year-end celebration with colleagues, clients or friends.
