The audience at our webinar “No Water, no Production! Expert Round Table on Water Management in Industry” on November 27 2024 showed what it means for their businesses or organisations to not have water.
The webinar brought together experts from Germany and South Africa in a panel discussion to unpack, how likely it is for Gauteng to experience Day Zero next year and what it means for industries to run out of water. The experts shared their knowledge on how industries can mitigate this risk and how Bavarian companies can support the sector. South African speakers demonstrated how their collaboration and partnerships with German companies lead to inspiring achievements in industrial water management. Our member companies Memcon and Talbot shared how they have been successfully representing and collaborating with several German companies for their industrial water management projects. Furthermore, three Bavarian companies, PPU Umwelttechnik, Vision Green Solutions and Rudolf Messner Umwelttechnik presented their innovative technologies for resource efficient industrial water and wastewater management.
The webinar was brought to you by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Bavarian representative office in South Africa in cooperation with the Bavarian Ministry of the Environment.
