Das Kompetenzzentrum Wassermanagement mit Sitz in Kapstadt bietet eine Plattform für Informationszugang und Beratung sowie für die Vernetzung der Privatwirtschaft.
Das südliche Afrika ist zunehmend mit Wasserknappheit konfrontiert. Technologische Lösungen zur Verbesserung des Wassermanagements und zur Förderung einer zirkulären Wasserwirtschaft sind entscheidend für eine nachhaltige Entwicklung des Subkontinents.
Das Kompetenzzentrum für Wassermanagement (CC:WM) zielt darauf hin, den bilateralen Austausch von Technologien und Know-how zwischen Deutschland und dem südlichen Afrika im Bereich der Wasserwirtschaft zu fördern. Dabei ist die gesamte Wasserwertschöpfungskette von der Quelle bis zur Abwasserbehandlung umfasst.
Das Kompetenzzentrum für Wassermanagement (CC:WM) hat seinen Sitz in Kapstadt.
Die Ziele des Kompetenzzentrum für Wassermanagement sind:
- Durchführung von Marktanalysen und Bereitstellung von Marktinformationen
- Unterstützung von Unternehmen bei Markteintritt und Markterweiterung
- Umsetzung von Initiativen, die auf eine nachhaltige Marktentwicklung im Wassersektor ausgerichtet sind
- Vertretung des Wassersektors und Bereitstellung einer Netzwerk- und Kooperationsplattform
Um die oben genannten Ziele zu erreichen, erweitern wir unser internationales Netzwerk im öffentlichen und privaten Wassersektor kontinuierlich und verbinden so den Wassersektor mit Zielindustrien. Auf diese Netzwerke basiert, bietet das CC:WM verschiedene Dienstleistungen für den privaten Sektor an, unter anderem Marktstudien, Delegationen, Geschäftspartnersuche und Informationsveranstaltungen.
Das Kompetenzzentrum für Wassermanagement führt auch Projekte durch, die vom deutschen Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie (BMWi) im Rahmen des Markterschließungsprogramms finanziert werden. Zu diesen Projekten gehören eintägige Informationsveranstaltungen, Markterkundungsreisen, Leistungsschauen, Geschäftsanbahnungsreisen sowie Einkäufer- und Informationsreisen. Exploring market opportunities relating to water and wastewater management in the South African mining and mineral processing sectors
Digital Market Exploration Mission for German companies: 5-9 July 2021
The Competence Centre Water Management recently hosted a digital Market Exploration Mission for German companies (download delegation brochure here: BMWi_MiningWater_GermanDelegates). The objective of this 5-day event was to transfer knowledge on current water management practices in the mining and mineral sectors and to explore market opportunities for German companies taking part in the delegation. A conference on this topic took place on 6 July 2021, which counted approximately 200 German and South African participants during the course of the conference day. Im Rahmen des Markterschließungsprogramms des Bundesministeriums für Wirtschaft und Energie (BMWi) veranstaltete die Deutsche Industrie- und Handelskammer für das südliche Afrika (AHK) im November 2019 für deutsche Unternehmen aus dem Bereich der Wassertechnik und des Wasser-Managements eine Geschäftsreise nach Sambia. Eine Zielmarktanalyse für den Wassersektor wurde im Rahmen dieses Projekts in deutscher Sprache veröffentlicht.
Namibia:
Im Rahmen des Markterschließungsprogramms des Bundesministeriums für Wirtschaft und Energie (BMWi) veranstaltete die Deutsche Industrie- und Handelskammer für das südliche Afrika (AHK) im May 2019 eine Geschäftsreise nach Südafrika und Namibia für deutsche Unternehmen im Wassersektor. Dabei standen Technologien für die Bedarfsteuerung, Wasserwiederaufbereitung, Verbrauchsminderung und die Ausbeutung alternativer Wasserquellen sowie Systeme für die verbesserte Verwaltung im Mittelpunkt. Eine Zielmarktanalyse für den Wassersektor wurde im Rahmen dieses Projekts in deutscher Sprache veröffentlicht.
