Connecting social services and dual vocational training system

The HOPE Cape Town Trust and Southern African-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SAGCCI) have adopted a collaborative approach, drawing on their individual expertise to mutually promote the Dual Vocational Training and Education programme and sustainable socioeconomic development through holistic interventions. The partner organizations are committed to the establishment of a multipurpose facility that focuses on learning and wellbeing, skills development and self-sustainability. It is envisioned that by 2021 this will evolve into an independent dual vocational training and education centre, starting with the logistics dual training accredited by TETA for the South African qualification and the SAGCCI for the German qualification with the practical work experience being conducted within the nearby Logistics companies. Through their CSI strategies and budgets, companies are invited to participate in the transformation of under-developed communities into sustainable and aspirational communities by way of a multi-pronged holistic approach with a focus on a variety of available and accessible interventions and services. Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has. As a committed citizen/ organization and to be part of this transformation. Please email: Rev. Stefan Hippler on stefan.hippler@hopecapetown.com OR Isabella Hlabangu on cats@germanchamber.co.za and we will send you more information on how to get involved. The details of the project is scheduled to be presented at the next Senior Council Meeting of the SAGCCI. HOPE Cape Town is a registered non-profit organization with PBO and a Level 4 BBBEE status.
