Dear Member and Stakeholder,

Health and Safety in mining affects both employer and employee, and a lack of proper implementation can lead to devastating consequences. The Competence Centre for Mineral Resources as part of the Southern African German Chamber are proud to host a Health and Safety Seminar at its headquarters on the 15th of September, to introduce leading German companies as well local industry pioneers who have developed solutions contributing to the ultimate goal of Zero-Harm. This seminar aims to bring all relevant industry players from state, mines, and commerce to share case studies and propose new ideas on how technology can improve operational efficiency and keep the lives of mineworkers safe and healthy.

Speakers who will be presenting include industry experts: AVENG Mining, The Chamber of Mines, Dräger, Expectra 2004, Gas Safety International, Harmony, The Mine Health and Safety Council, Schauenburg, SMT Scharf, and WIMICO.
