Bavarian Representation in South Africa

Since 2007, South Africa has been active in marketing Bavarian industry, with the aim of supporting South African companies in their market entry into Bavaria. Meanwhile, the Bavarian representative office in Johannesburg also supports Bavarian companies with their expansion plans in southern Africa and in networking with local business partners.

Germany Trade and Invest (GTAI) is the economic development agency of the Federal Republic of Germany. Founded in January 2009, the organization informs and advises international companies setting up business in Germany. Furthermore, the GTAI supports German-based businesses seeking to expand in international markets with up-to-the-minute foreign trade information.

Germany Trade and Invest has a global network of employees who work closely with the German Chambers of Commerce (AHKs). This cooperation aims to offer German exporters and potential foreign investors a central contact point for both country-specific market information and targeted consultancy services under the umbrella of the AHKs.
